Website Development
Fast, accessible websites built on modern frameworks and handed over ready for your team to run.
What you get.
For businesses whose current site is slow, hard to update, or indistinguishable from a template.
We design and build the site, then leave you able to run it. No page builder bolted onto a theme, no plugin sprawl, no waiting on an agency to change a headline.
Every build starts from the job the page has to do. Before a line of code is written we agree what has to be measurable, who edits which section, and what the performance budget is. That is why our sites stay fast after launch instead of degrading with the first content update.

What is included.
-
A design system, not a set of pages
Type scale, grid, colour, spacing and motion are set once and applied across every template, so page nine looks as considered as page one and the next phase costs a fraction of the first.
-
A content model built around your sections
Editors see fields that match how you actually talk about the business, not a generic post editor. Nothing important is buried in a wall of rich text where it can be broken by accident.
-
A performance budget agreed upfront
Image weight, font count and script size are set as numbers before the build, then measured at launch. This is what separates a fast site from a site that was fast on the day it went live.
-
Search foundations in the build
Semantic markup, structured data, metadata, sitemap and redirects are part of the work rather than a retrofit after traffic drops.
-
A real handover
Repository access, deployment notes and a recorded walkthrough of every editable area. If you change agency next year, nothing about this site holds you hostage.
The problem
Most business sites are slow, hard to update, and built from a template a hundred other companies already use. Traffic arrives, finds nothing that holds it, and leaves. The team stops updating the site because updating it is unpleasant, and within a year it misrepresents the business.
How we solve it
We start with the job the page has to do, then build only what serves it. The result loads immediately, reads clearly on any screen, and gives your team direct control of the content. Because it is built as a system rather than a set of pages, it keeps working as you add to it.
What that means for you.
-
Loads on first impression
Images, fonts and scripts are budgeted before a line of code is written, so the page is usable on a mobile connection in a low signal area.
-
Editable by your team
Content is modelled around your real sections, not a generic post type, so an update takes minutes and does not require us.
-
Findable
Semantic markup, structured data and clean metadata are part of the build, so search engines understand the site from day one.
-
Built to extend
Components are reusable and documented, so the second phase costs a fraction of the first and looks like it belongs.
How it runs.
In order. You know what happens next at every point.
Start a project-
01
Scope
We agree what the site must achieve, which pages carry that weight, what has to be measurable, and what the budget for weight and time actually is.
-
02
Structure
Sitemap, content model and wireframes. Words and hierarchy are settled before any visual design, because layout applied to unwritten copy is decoration.
-
03
Design
Type, grid, colour and motion are set once as a system, then applied across every template and reviewed at three widths.
-
04
Build
Component by component, reviewed on a live staging URL you can open at any point. No reveal at the end.
-
05
Launch
Performance and accessibility passes, redirects from the old URLs, analytics and search console, then a recorded handover for your team.
Selected work.
Questions.
- Do we have to move off WordPress?
- No. We build fully custom Next.js sites and fully custom WordPress themes to the same standard. The right choice depends on who edits the site, how often, and whether the content needs to feed anything else.
- Can we edit the site ourselves?
- Yes. Every build ships with an editing interface mapped to your real sections, plus a short recorded walkthrough. Nothing routine requires a developer.
- How long does a build take?
- A focused marketing site is usually a few weeks from approved structure to launch. Larger builds are staged so the most valuable pages go live first rather than waiting for everything.
- Do you host?
- We can deploy and manage hosting, or hand the repository to your own team. Both are supported and neither locks you in.
- What happens if we want changes after launch?
- Small content changes are yours to make. For structural work we quote against the existing component library, which is almost always cheaper than the original build.
