A studio built the long way round.

Locita360 grew outward from a camera, one discipline at a time, which is why the parts still fit together.

Who we are.

Locita360 is a creative media house based in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. We deliver videography, photography, graphic design, branding and development work for clients across South Africa and into the region. One team, one building, from the first planning conversation to the delivered files.

The studio began with weddings. That is a demanding place to learn, because nothing is repeatable. The light goes when it goes, the speech happens once, and there is no second take on a first look. Working that way taught us to plan hard, arrive early, and leave the ego at the door, and those habits carried into every discipline we picked up afterwards.

The disciplines feed each other. Filming a wedding teaches you how a room reads under pressure, and that turns up later in how we light a product or lay out a page. Designing an identity teaches you how a mark behaves at forty pixels, and that turns up in how we frame for a feed. Nothing here was bolted on afterwards.

Today the same team will treat, shoot, grade and deliver a film, design the identity it lives inside, and build the site or application it sits on. That is unusual for a studio this size, and it is deliberate. Fewer handovers means fewer places for the work to lose its shape.

The company is a KLCBT Young Entrepreneur Award winner, recognised by the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism, and its work is catalogued publicly for clients and collaborators abroad.

What we hold to.

  • Plan it before you shoot it

Deliverables are agreed first, then the shot list is written backwards from them. Every setup on the day exists to feed something you have already committed to publishing, which is why our shoots run short and our edits arrive quickly.

  • Say the hard thing early

If a budget will not carry the idea, or an app is the wrong answer, or the venue light will fight the look you want, you hear it in the first conversation rather than the last. Awkward at the quote stage is cheaper than awkward at delivery.

  • Own the whole chain

Concept, capture, post, design and delivery sit with one team. The people who planned the shoot are the people who cut it, so intent survives from the treatment to the final master.

  • Leave it usable

Files organised, sites editable, footage catalogued, templates named. The work should still be findable and changeable a year after we invoice, without calling us.

How it grew.

  1. 01

    It started behind a camera

Weddings and events in the Lowveld, shot with a small kit and a habit of turning up before anyone expected us. The reputation was built on coverage that did not intrude and files that arrived when promised.

  2. 02

    Then the edit suite

Grading, sound and motion were brought in house so the film we delivered was the film we planned in pre production, rather than whatever survived a handover to an outside editor.

  3. 03

    Then the brand around it

Clients kept asking who was designing the invitation, the deck, the signage, the site. Graphic design, branding and development followed, built on the same discipline as the camera work.

  4. 04

    Then the products themselves

Clients who had a site started asking for the application behind it. Mobile development followed, built the same way as everything else: scoped tightly, shipped early, then extended once real usage showed what mattered.
